This card symbolizes powerful revelations, rapid changes and explosive occurrences. In most cases this will not be a pleasant ordeal. When we see this card, we can expect an experience that can completely alter our lives in some way or transform our perceptions of something. The tower is being destroyed, and it was destined to fall because it was never built on solid ground. It represents the destruction of certain aspirations and expectations but it does bring us the chance to avoid past mistakes and rebuild on a strong foundation. This card often shows itself when there is a drastic wake up call needed. It is the cosmos’ way of helping us deal with something we’ve been ignoring or have been too blind to see. Maybe things have gotten out of control, maybe we’ve refused to admit something to ourselves, or are imprisoned by illusions or repressed emotions. When we cannot free ourselves, sometimes an upheaval is the only thing that can thrust us into the truth and help put us back on course.

Firstly, let me say what an awesome looking blog you have. I especially like your doodle art!
Your description of the Tower is interesting. I agree that it does represent a transforming experience on a subjective level.
I've found that when this card comes up in a reading it can also indicate fairly mundane matters; such as a an appliance in the home needing replaced; a break up in a relationship (if reversed it usually indicates, for me, that the breakup took place in the past)and so on.
The interesting thing about the Tower is that it doesn't always indicate major events (in an objective sense)but rather, indicates things have 'stopped working'.
I like your blog, I hope you keep going.
Wow Douglas,
Thank you so much!! I like your interpretation as well. I know sometimes the Tower can feel so heavy when really like you say it could just be as simple as something not working out the way you wanted. Or something that puts a real dent in your day. I like your "stopped working" interpretation. That actually applies to the reason I posted that particular card then. Thanks for the encouragement - as you can see, I post infrequently depending on whats going on... Thanks for your interest.. I plan to post again soon.
